well hello thurr!

Alas, I am finally doing another little update. Because i'm only slightly tired and feeling the need to occupy my mind with something other than just Twitter. I've become a bit of an addict.
As you can see i'm a bit of a lazy bum and decided not to bother with a little avatar this time. Fuck it. Heh. Onto the blog topic, eh?
I guess I shall start off with the fact that I am sick. So horribly sick. Well, it could be worse but why not milk it for what it's worth, am I right here? Yes, I am. Suck it. I have Bronchitis. It sucks. Big time. Breathing is labored, slight fever, extreme fatigue and just overall coughing that fucks me right the hell off.
Yes, being sick makes me cranky. Mainly tonight actually because I can't stop coughing despite taking cough syrup roughly 3 hours ago. Not cool, lungs. Not cool. And yet so very well played...
I have some lovely Amoxicillin though so hopefully it'll help make me better soon. Working 5 days in a row like this blows, so i'm quite glad I now have three days off. Well now just two days. Poop.
Enough of my whining about sickness, time to whine about something else!
More specifically, the hard drive kind of went kaput. I've only had my laptop for maybe 4 months and the other day, I went to start it up and it popped up a blue screen error for a millisecond and rebooted. Repeatedly. Luckily i'm smart enough to know how to access the BIOS and such and I disabled the "reboot on system failure" option and hit up the blue screen.
Unmountable boot volume.
Normally when such a thing happens you can just plop in your OS disc and fix it fairly easily yourself. Alas, the manufacturers never gave me the Windows 7 disc so I had to download the .ISO file and burn it to a bootable DVD and ta-da! When that didn't work, it was my time to call it quits and give up.
Took it over to the computer shop today and got it looked at. Turns out the hard drive was failing. So now I must wait for the computer geekatron to phone me tomorrow and give me all the info needed to phone up the manufacturers and get them to mail me a new hard drive since the laptop is still under warranty.
The biggest thing for me is whether or not I will be able to save my data on my dying hard drive. When I talk to the guy tomorrow, i'm going to ask him to find an adapter so I can transfer my data from my dead hard drive to the new one. I have plenty of precious pictures and audio files on there that I would much rather not lose.
I'd cry. Honestly.
Only other news I can think of mentioning would be the fact that there is a 100% chance that I will be going to Uproar Festival in September. Tickets have been purchased! I wanted GA (mosh) tickets but, alas, because of the genre of the bands my cousin pussied out and played it safe with seat tickets. Ugh. I can't complain. It's Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, and Stone Sour, after all.
If it were Muse, on the other hand... i'd kill her. No question about it.
I'm going to shut up now. Sorry for all grammatical and punctuation errors. I could care less at this point as my mind is currently focused on Twitter. :3
Goodnight, lovers and fighters.
Talk to you soon.
